I have yet to try it out, but it's written as practice rather than theory, which is much more helpful than any other readily available and affordable hypnosis or self-hypnosis books. The book also takes time to explain proper safety, care, and manners, which are very important. Wiseman does a good job of explaining the basics of the lifestyle and how they can and do apply as well.
I must admit I rolled my eyes when I saw the title of this book.
But when I was halfway through the introduction to the book I was already hooked.
The writing in the book is phenomenal, easy to understand, and makes sense.
I am a lifestyle Dominant and have been in the fetish/kink community for quite some time.
This book lays out all the groundwork you need to have fun satisfying safe and consensual hypno play.
Buy this today he will not be disappointed I can assure you of that my friends.

Great content and very well organized. My only disappointment was the lack of scripts organized at the end. I wish that the scripts that are provided throughout the book would have been organized neatly at the end for use. It would have also been nice to have a digital version of the scripts available to borrow from when making your own. It's a lot of work typing every aspect of every script out for personal use in recordings.
Wiseguy is a remarkable author. He took a very difficult and sensitive subject and broke it down into easy to understand, relevant chunks in a way that is very useful even for those who have no prior hypnosis experience at all. This volume is designed to be used when leading groups. There is more than enough information in here that everyone interested in erotic hypnosis should have a copy of both the Mind Play books.
As a certified clinical hypnotherapist I can say that even for those who are knowledgeable on hypnosis will find this to be an invaluable reference volume that will be referred back to for years to come
I'll preface this by saying that not everyone is going to learn hypnosis (or anything else) just from reading a book; but for those who do learn well that way, this is a good text. It's also quite entertaining.
Mark Wiseman, or Wiseguy, is a practicing hypnotherapist who also has an interest in erotic hypnosis, and that is the topic he covers in this book. Even if you have no interest in hypnotizing others, you may find this book worthwhile for its entertainment value. For those who do want to learn hypnosis, I recommend this book as part of your study material. I began with this book, and have since bought DVDs, CDs and other books, as well as taking advantage of free downloads from the websites of reputable hypnotists, most of who work full-time as either stage hypnotists or hypnotherapists.
No, you probably won't learn everything you need to know from this one book; but it's a very good start. Pay special attention to the section on safety and properly careful wording of suggestions.
Many people are probably wondering things like "Can I do this?" and "Does it really work?"
Using this book, the answers to both questions are "YES!"
I'm a professional hypnotherapist. It's what I do for a living. Even so, I read through the chapters that teach a complete newbie how hypnosis works and how to prepare to use it to enhance intimacy. They are well-written, thorough enough for bedroom use, easy to read, and easy to understand.
The chapters specifically about erotic hypnosis are also great. They explain things well and the creativity Mr. Wiseman shows in some of the erotic applications is inspiring!
My only lament is that this book didn't exist back when I was in college (we're NOT going to talk about how many decades ago that was) so that I could have read it and known what I was doing right from the start, without having to learn through trial-and-error.
In short Buy this book. Read this book. Use what you learn from this book. Start out slowly, and build on your successes. Then enjoy the enormous rewards of being one of the few people who actually know how to use the mind to maximize the intensity, pleasure, and sheer fun of erotic encounters!
This book is the best erotic hypnosis book I've found. It's is a hypnosis primer for anyone who is interested in learning hypnosis and plans to use it for sexy times too. It's also a good book for anyone who is interested in kink and wants to broaden their menu options.
Wiseguy, the author of this book is well known and well respected in the erotic hypnosis community. He is also a board certified professional hypnotist. This book provides readers with a lot of helpful resources. Additionally, it gives readers a good rundown of where a person can find like minded folks and how to become involved in the erotic hypnosis community online and in person.
I whole heartedly recommend this book. If you are going to hypnotize someone for sexy times, you should make sure you know what you're doing. Invest in this book.
