This is a fantastic opening book to a 4 part series that is now available in a boxset.Scorned introduces us to Jules (Juliette) a very successful gallery director. She has it all, beauty, money and and a very close friend but she is damaged on the inside.
Dylan and Juliette parted unexpectedly with his final words "I hate you" 3 years earlier and she has been unable to move forward with her life after this; she is in a dark emotional place.

This book was beautifully written with great character development. It is written in the first person from Jules's POV which I loved as we really got to feel her emotions and inner turmoil.
All in all this book did a great job as an opener to the series "From the inside out". I can't wait to carry on reading this great box set.

I loved that this book has two endings. It made reading about a love triangle (a trope I loathe) enjoyable. I read both endings and ended up being torn on which couple I prefer which rarely happens.
The passion Jules has is powerful you feel her pain and her angst. You are drawn into this and carried along . Oh I certainly love the POV between the characters. The writing is great I enjoyed this I'm on the edge every page because well not sure where we are heading and that makes me deliriously happy! I'm conflicted in what I want to happen and we get to choose how brilliant is that! This is the best concept! This box set is a must read must get right now!
I am a huge fan of serial series' and this one does not disappoint. This exciting serial series by SL Scott has it all sex, romance, mystery, and intrigue. It will keep you guessing right up to the end. One of my favorite things about this series, is that SL Scott has done something that I've never seen an author do before; she lets you choose your own ending! That's right, you get to choose which character you want to see Jules with. So whether you are Team Austin or Team Dylan, the choice is now yours. This series is brilliant and I loved every second of it!
One of my favorite things about a book is feeling so much through the words on a page. The ability for an author to pull a reader in, to make a reader feel the moments, the hurt, the pain and the healing is never short of amazing. S.L. Scott has managed to do just that through eyes and feelings of multiple characters. I originally read this series individually then as the compilation and either way, this is an emotionally driven series.
We begin by meeting Jules and her trio of men. Each man bringing something to her life that the other cannot. Dylan has broken her. Brandon has helped her live. Austin may help her heal. I could feel every emotion Jules was experiencing and still managed to crush a little on all three men. Regardless of their flaws, each brings something to the story that is necessary.
Throughout this series we see a woman come to terms with her past, face her present and choose a future. A must read for anyone that believes in second chances and true love.
